Meet our Allied Health Practitioners
Steph Wheaton and Vic Mau are Allied Health and Wellbeing Practitioners and friends who first started working together 20 years ago in an outdoor adventure program. They have spent the last 18 years following their own professional paths in the human services sector.
Steph and Vic have always recognised and valued the restorative power of slowing down in the beautiful outdoors. Inspired by the emerging evidence about the benefits of connecting with nature they formed Good Natured Connections in 2020. They now facilitate opportunities for others to find purpose and meaning through engagement in the natural world.
Steph Wheaton

Steph is an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with people to engage and participate in the daily occupations that are important to them.
She has worked with people across the lifespan in both traditional and alternative therapy settings and understands the central role of establishing genuine, warm and respectful relationships.
She especially loves working outdoors with children and families- using both natural and creative play-based activities to develop personal skills, build connections and enjoy life.
Steph has additional training in counselling, is a licenced Circle of Security Facilitator and Marte Meo Therapist and these approaches underpin all of her work.
Vic Mau

Social Worker, AASW Member
Vic loves working in community settings and establishing warm working relationships with people of all ages, experiences and cultural diversities.
With many years’ experience in the non-government sector providing and coordinating adult and older persons’ psychosocial disability support services, Vic completed her Social work Master's program in 2018.
Vic particularly enjoys facilitating skill-based and therapeutic groups using nature connection, mindful reflection and creative activities which promote mental health and wellbeing.
